* I have studied the art of drumming with 19 different drumming teachers. About half of them were long-term mentors of mine.

* I began teaching drum lessons in New York City in 1996.

* I have been one of New York City’s leading drum instructors since 2001.

* I have taught lessons to over 400 private students…and counting!

* I have taught thousands and thousands of individual lessons…far too many to count at this point!

* I have written educational drumming articles that have been published in Modern Drummer magazine.

* My instructional drum DVD has received praise from numerous greats in the drumming world, including Steve Smith, David Garibaldi, and others.

* In my lessons, I make sure to equally emphasize the 3 main aspects of drumming – the physical aspect, the mental aspect, and the emotional aspect.

* A typical lesson with me might include hand or foot techniques, full body coordination, reading or counting rhythms, and playing along with music from our ipods!

* My ultimate goal with each student is to bolster their passion for drumming while helping them to develop the skills and the freedom to express their own musical creativity.
