Drum Lessons in New York
Location
I currently offer drum lessons at 2 different studios in New York City.
* Studio #1 is in Queens off the 33rd Street stop of the #7 subway train. It is just a few stops from Grand Central Station.
* Studio #2 is in Manhattan on West 30th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues.
Price
* All lessons at the Queens studio are $80 each (one hour).
* All lessons at the Manhattan studio are $100 each (one hour).
Schedule
Lessons are offered everyday except for Saturday. My teaching hours are between 4PM and 10PM.
Policies (for lessons in NY as well as online)
Age Requirement
To study drums with me, a student must be at least 12 years old.
Cancellations
If the student cancels or misses a scheduled lesson for any reason with less than 24 hours notice, the student is still required to pay for the lesson.
If I myself cancel or miss a scheduled lesson for any reason with less than 24 hours notice, then I will give the student their next lesson completely free of charge. Yes, you did read this correctly. I’ve had people say that this seems “too good to be true,” or that it’s “too generous,” but I feel that it’s only right for the teacher to follow the same scheduling rules as the student!
Communication
All communication about lessons must be done by email so that we don’t lose time playing “phone tag.”
